It's 8-9mm wide (just under 3/8"). It hurts when I massages it.

Thanks in advance.

Hi - no-one can diagnose over the net. Go and see your doctor if at all in doubt.

Hi,

Did you look at the picture? A picture should be as good as the real thing in diagnosing a mole.

Yes, even for the common man its possible to compare with this for example: [link deleted by admin]

I find my mole very suspicious, but cannot call my doc before monday, and hoped that there was someone here with more experience than me.

The mole is on my left side, and my stomach is all hard on the left side, on the right side my stomach is soft. When I press on my left side I get a weird pain I have never felt before. Seems I have to write my will this weekend.

thealcoholic, I deleted you links because until you have been a member for at least 1 month and posted at least 10 significant messages, you do not have the privilege to use links to other sites.

In addition, I totally agree with Vee... it is impossible for ANYONE to make a diagnosis based on a picture... especially since most of us do not have an MD following our names.

My advice it: Go see your own doctor who IS trained and can do whatever tests are needed in order to identify this mole. You are way ahead of yourself if you are already thinking about your will.

A mole can be viewed as suspicious from a picture. Doctors will now begin to use a scanner so they can diagnose the mole correctly. That is possible because moles that are suspicious can be diagnosed just by the shape and color of it.

I understand you want to prevent spam, but I think you should judge each post for itself and not generalize like you did now. My links were harmless.

I see I did a mistake coming here for help. Please delete my account.

MDs cannot diagnose based on a scan. They can make an initial assessment but not diagnose. Furthermore, none of us are MDs. And finally, we are totally unable to check every link to be sure that our members remain safe from such things as spam, viruses, or pornography. I appreciate your wish to get a quick assessment of your mole.

It seems that you are already convinced that it is cancer so I remain firm in my conviction that the best thing for you to do is to go to a doctor. I am sorry if this is not what you wanted from us but it is the best that we have to offer. You might find other forums that will tell you what you want to hear. In my humble opinion, they will do you a disservice whatever they say.

You do remain in my thoughts and prayers.
