Hi everyone, my daughter had liver cancer at four months, she had to have a liver transplant at nine months. She is just four years old now. Would be nice to chat to someone in our situation? Just to discuss drugs, gfr's, bloods etc,

God bless
Mary

Oh Mary, I am so sorry about your daughter! A liver transplant at nine months!!! That is way too young to have such significant health problems Sad. I have a niece that had kidney cancer when she was a baby. She is 20+ now and doing very well with no evidence of disease.

I really have very little experience with childhood cancers having spent a great part of my life learning about adult cancers. I do know that children are very resilient and can recover from things that would kill most adults. I hope other parents will reply to you but this is one of our least active forums.

You and your daughter are in my thoughts and prayers.
