Hi All
If you live In Australia Medicare is now paying for this treatment. Previously it cost AUD$20,000 so this is wonderful news! Another very effective treatment option that now won't break the bank balance.

Had radiation to pelvic area and radioactive SIRT spheres injected through the portal vein into the liver. I can only tell you what happened to John. he had private health cover and in Perth this procedure is only done in two of the private hosiptals Hollywood Hospital by a doctor called Joe Cardarci and in The Mount Hospital by another doctor.

John's had to go in for a day procedure to see if he was a suitable candidate for the SIRT spheres and he was. For that he had refunds from HBA and medicare and still had a very small gap to pay for the local anthethetic and the x rays.

He was suitable so then he was in hospital overbnight with more x rays etc and he again had a small gap after his medicare and HBA refunds.

Ig you find a doctor in Sydney who does this procedure I am sure you could get a quote. John's gap for everything was about $500 I think. He had so many treatments it is hard to remember.

Best wishes
If you want any more info send me a pm and I will answer your questions as best I can.
