One thing we cancer patients have is plenty of time while waiting for something we have to do next. I carry a Sudoku book to past the time, I like the Medium difficulty the best. This really helps the time go by and I hardly even notice it fly by. This helps my attitude when I see a doctor and less likely to be aggravated or upset. So my question is what do you do to pass the time while waiting for the next appointment? _________________ 55 year old male, Diagnosed Nov. 9,2007 with NSCLC IV with Mets to the lymphs and brain

Sudoku... have no idea how to do- everytime i try i get frustrated and stuff it up... whats the rules/how do you do it?
Me, mainly i do everything i have to do for as long as i can before app... so i don't have to wait or dwell.
Then i always take a book or magazine, takes my mind off. _________________ Thinking of you Inica

Can't do 'em- experts at work have tried to show me- I gave up. I like jumbles, crossword puzzels and the cryptoquips. Ben does them with me and I think it helps. _________________ Kathy: still loving Ben, as he rests with God. |

Hi All, My main point was what do you do with your time while waiting.
As for as sudoku goes to me it is easy 1-9 in each box and 1-9 down each column and 1-9 across each row, only 1 of each number in each box, column and row. It reminds me of Geometry back in high school, you prove each step and move on. I have not Mastered it by any means.

What I like about Sudoku is I can bury myself in it in flash and when they call my name I'm ready to go. A book would be hard, I'm a slow reader and if I like it almost impossible to do, I hate stopping when I reading a good book. _________________ 55 year old male, Diagnosed Nov. 9,2007 with NSCLC IV with Mets to the lymphs and brain

Oh.........
I hand make rosaries, and I say it whenever I wait. It helped me sleep the first night Ben was in the hospital, and we got "the news". So, paper work, and reciting my rosary, are my Sudoku. _________________ Kathy: still loving Ben, as he rests with God. |
