New Cancer Treatment Shrinks Pancreatic Tumor:

It mentions that "The cholesterol drug Lovastatin is a key part of this treatment that has arrested or eradicated tumors in 78% of initial patients". Anyone heard about this drug "Lovastatin" or tried NeoPlas Innovation’s cancer treatment? Is this treatment FDA-approved?

It seems like the researchers discussed in the original (link deleted) article supplemented an oral lovastatin regimen with interferon treatments.

Would it make sense for a sufferer of pancreatic cancer to request this combination of medications from their doctor?
