Hello,
I’ve got a question about selenium.
In some serious medical publications, I read studies that show interesting properties.
These studies show that, if you take 200 micrograms of selenium a day, with vitamin C,D, E and beta carotene during the treatment, there should be an improvement of the cure rate.
Another study shows a correlation between the selenium deficiency in food and the cancer rate in some regions.
As a friend of mine has a cancer I would like to know if it’s interesting to take these molecules
Thanks and happy New Year.

Hi - there certainly have been reports that cancer sufferers show low levels of selenium, and that supplementation is a sensible thing to do. Whether it improves "cure rates" I don't know, but anything that builds the body's ability to fight infection and make the most of treatments is worth it.
