Hi, unfortunately, as with any health care modality, a few bad practitioners give the rest a bad name. Any BodyTalk practitioner telling a client about their past lives should in my view not be allowed to practice, as they are projecting their own beliefs on the client, and this is unprofessional to say the least. I am a certified BodyTalk practitioner myself, and we are definitely not taught that what comes up is the client's past life experience. If this is their understanding then they should retrain.

Similarly, a BodyTalk practitioner should not be telling you that you must sign up for a fixed number of sessions, or giving advice such as stopping conventional therapy.

If you have any complaints about a BodyTalk practitioner, I encourage you to direct it to the International BodyTalk Association as there are standards and a code of ethics that practitioners should adhere to.
