You may submit as many as you wish - for those who have many. LOL! Just looking to see if what bothers me is also on others lists...

My pet peeve are professionals who snap, chomp and make me see their chewing gum. Yuk!

I hate it when you smile at a persons public cell phone conversation; and they look at you like you violated their privacy.

How about the drivers that take unsafe chances to get around you in traffic ....
just to pull into the nearest high priced, overrated coffee shop. (I will not drop names, we all know of one or two)

or when you find a lost girl crying her eyes out in a maga store- only 2-3 years old. so you take her hand and walk to counter. all the while calling and looking for the mother......

To recieve a major telling off and abuse for touching the child! grrrrrr

(though in saying that i'd probably react the same way if someone was holding Hunter's hand... moral of the story, watch your kids. Wink

The gum chewing(esp. loudly as mentioned above)is just about the worst. Also employees who stop helping me to answer cell phone. Tiny women in the largest SUVs, drinking coffee, talking on cell phones and driving right over my car if I don't realize their importance and get out of their way!!

or people who snort loudly, then spit a nasty loogie all over the sidewalk and when you give them stink eye (nasty look), they act stupid and innocent. GROSS!

Mothers driving cars full of kids who talk on their cell phones... I hate that

people who tailgate the driver in front but then when they stop at the lights leave a 2 car length gap to the car they have just been tailgating and block people using the slip lane to turn..... I hate that too

People who push in front of you at the checkout or people who stand in the 12 items or less queue when they clearly have a trolley full of stuff and then the checkout girl just processes the trolley full instead of pointing to the sign and saying you are in the wrong queue.

Grumpy parents who expect me to be able to actually REMOVE their child's disability rather than work with me to help find ways to accommodate and work around the weaknesses by focusing on the child's strengths and who can't seem to love their child for their uniqueness even if they do have learning difficulties..... OK that's a professional gripe..... sorry I couldn't help myself Embarassed

Making a call to the phone company or banks etc and having to hold for 20 minutes is bad enough but having to listen to the same advertising message 15 times makes it so much worse.

OK enough moaning - that's the end of my therapy session for today Very Happy

I'll bet this has NEVER happened to anyone here--at least I HOPE not! I was having lab drawn today and the phlebotomist had the tourniquet tightly on my arm and STOPPED TO ANSWER THE PHONE!! and I don' mean a cell in her pocket which would be bad enough. She walked to the desk and left me there with my arm throbbing away. I was just about to release it myself when whe came back.

Poor eating manners always irk me to no end. I wish people were required to take some sort of manners classes - like how to eat and how to clear your throat without spitting all over the sidewalk.

My son and I were at the hospital the other day, in the parking garage. An older gent was on the walkway just outside the garage and he spat a big wad. Problem is that it has been unusually windy here and (yep, you guessed it) the blob of spit went right back to his face. We laughed sooooo loud! LOL

I can't stand people who drive forever with their turn signal blinking. If your head is so far up your you-know-where that you don't see the indicator light not two feet from your face? I do not want to be driving anywhere near you. Its especially irritating when they're in the left lane of the freeway with their left blinker going! I find myself thinking "Go ahead buddy. Make that turn. I DARE you."

I can't stand the people that hold up traffic in a parking lot waiting forever for a parking spot to empty. They will spend 30 minutes sitting in a line for a spot, when there's a spot just two spots away. Then blow their horn at me when I dare to drive past them. Although, I do enjoy the wave and wink I give them when I walk back past them to my car and they're STILL sitting in line!

My other pet peeve is people who accost people who park in handicapped spots. Apparently some members of society think you have to be one-legged, two-headed and blind to be allowed to park there, and that they have the right to give you grief because they can't see your disability. I've had to respond that while my disability is temporary, there is no cure for stupid.
