Hi
i have just been dianosed with a complex cyst 4.6cmx 4.5x 3

I have been referred to a gynacologist and have today had a ca125 blood test. i have been told it will have to be removed because of its size. I am 44 It was found as had IBS type symptoms and recently read about this being missed for ovarian problems so had a pelvic scan
Incidently the IBS type pain has subsided in the last 4 weeks
I dont have any syptoms of fullnes frequency of urination etc

i want to know what are the chances of this being malignant.

There really is no way of knowing until after you have surgery and the mass is biopsied. I had two huge masses removed, and my doctor thought the masses looked to be benign. But after the lab results came back, it was just the opposite. Not everyone has the same exact symptoms. Mine started with back pain then came a feeling of fullness no matter how little I ate, bloatness, frequent urination, gas, and abnormal bleeding. All this symptoms became enhanced and more frequently within a few months.

i am having an MRI scan on thurs so should know by fri

did you have a hysterectomy

Yes. A full hysterectomy was needed in my case.
