My son was dx with Embryonal Undifferentiated Sarcoma Feb 09 and underwent 6 rounds of chemotherapy followed by liver transplant and 2 more rounds of chemotherapy. As of 8-14-09 his scans revealed no evidence of disease; however, I am very discouraged by the fact that we have yet to find any survivors of this disease. I have no idea what to expect regarding recurrence, post chemotherapy effects, etc. Everything has happened so fast that I haven't even really had time to wrap my mind around everything. He just turned 7 two weeks after his transplant.
