Hello,

I am a gleason 3/3. Since diagnosis in April, i was told that it has progressed into the seminal vesicle. I have started hormone therapy and was told today that it is 8-10 weeks from the injection to beginning radiation therapy? Is that correct?

I am going in on Oct. 1st to be marked for the radiation, but will not start until Oct. 19th, which is 8 1/2 weeks since injection on August 14th.

Two to three months is normal. It allows the prostate and tumor to shrink and makes radiation more effective. There is very little chance that the PC will continue to grow while you are on HT.
