No uterus, no fallopian tube, pain, bloating, large cysts... What is this ?

Complex cyst left ovary on MRI.

Sonographic evaluation was performed both transabdominally and endovaginally.

There is nonvisualization of the uterus compatible with patient's history of prior hysterectomy.

The left ovary is normal in size and appearance measuring 2.7 x 1.8 x 2.1 cm. A few small subcentimeter left follicular ovarian cysts are identified. There is no longer evidence of previously described 2.0 cm complex left ovarian cyst.

The right ovary measures 3.8 x 2.0 x 4.0 cm and contains a thick walled complex right ovarian cyst measuring 3.4 x 1.4 x 4.0 cm. This was not noted on prior MRI examination. Clinical correlation and close follow-up is recommended.

Small amount of free fluid is noted within the cul-de-sac.

Impression:

Status post hysterectomy.

Normal left ovary. Resolution of previously described complex left ovarian cyst.

Thick walled complex right ovarian cyst measuring 3.4 x 1.4 x 4.0 cm, not noted on prior MRI examination. Clinical correlation and follow-up sonography to demonstrate resolution would be recommended.

Small amount of free fluid within the cul de sac.
