both of my parents died at the age of 37 of extremely rare cancers. This post is long overdue since I was so young when they passed....

I never really understood the pain they went through, or the strength they had to take care of one another when their illnesses overlaped each other until I recently read their medical files. I dont know how they hid so much pain from my sister and I...or maybe we were just so naive to it.

Robert Lee Young
Medullablastoma mestastisized to the spinal cord
Born 5-4-1953
Diagnosed 7/1987
Died 8-2-1990

Guillermina Young
Gastric Adenocarcinoma mestastisized to a Kurkenberg Tumor
Born 11-4-1954
Diagnosed 8/1988
Died 12-5-1991

I have missed them both most of my life, I wish they were here to hold my children....

2005 Recurrence this time said to be an Oligodendroglioma grade 3, same location.
