Hello again

Mum has pancan and has undergone 4 cycles gemcap chemo.. She has been off chemo for about 2 weeks - is due a scan on Monday, results Monday week

However she now has pain in her abdomen, pale stools and orange urine. Have 'Googled' and these are symptoms of bile duct obstruction/pancreatic cancer. We know the tumor is in the head of the pancreas but do these recent symptoms warrant a call to the hospital?

She saw the GP yesterday who thinks it may be an ulcer - as there 'is no pancreas disease showing in her bloods'.

I am sorry - I am clueless and feel helpless! Confused

Thank you for reading, kind regards and best wishes to everyone on here. x

I think I would call the oncologist or his nurse and let them know what is going on. Good luck.

Because of your advise, I did just that - despite that mum had seen her local doctor (GP) about it. We went into the hospital ward, the lovely dr checked her throughly and sent her home. He is going to email mums Consultant to let him know.

Mum has her scan today.

Thank you so much for your wise words and advise which I am glad we took.
