| I had my thyroidectomy on Sept. 3. I need 2 know if anyone has advise about what 2 put on it 2 diminish it. I also need 2 know if anyone has advise about what 2 expect 4 the radiation therapy. |

Hi
it is been now 5 weeks since my thyrodoctomy, i ask my cardiotoracic surgon what to put for my chest scar, he said there is no cream that scientific approve to diminuch the scar but he advice me, vitamin e . i was happy, i try it, then my scar become smooth and then bigger  .
the surgon said that anyway the final look for a scar can take to a year to a year and half. by the way my thyroid scar the one in the neck is small and great, but the chest scar is now large almost a half centimeter.

| My surgery was nearly 2 years ago. Initially the scar was my primary concern. I rarely think about it now, and it is hardly visible. |

that is great, and for peope who have scar problem, still the reconstrictive surgery or the laser.
