Just some general info....and a question.

I do not and have never had a mole. I have, however, had to have three spots of basal cell carcinoma and two squamous cell carcinomas removed. Thankfully, I have not had melanoma. I am 43 years old, spent my childhood on the beach, didn't use sun screen until my thirties, and have always burned. My cancerous spots tend to look like very faint age spots that get rough and very slightly raised. I've always found the spots on my own even though I go to a dermatologist for skin cancer screenings once a year. Almost every dermatologist that I go to looks for moles and moles only.

Can anyone recommend how to find a good dermatologist? I'm concerned because I find these spots in areas that I can see. I worry about my back and shoulders since I can't really see what's going on back there, and every dermatologist I have gone to is always VERY surprised when my biopsies come back positive. (I had one that was starting to understand my skin, but he left and moved out of state.)
