I cannot believe it!! We just got back from Yale and the oncologist gave us the good news: it's not cancer...it's Autoimmune pancreatitis!!! Very Happy
My dad was misdiagnosed with pancan by the previous hospital, with a prognosis of 3-6 mo. Thank goodness we took him to Yale for a second opinion!! Steroids are all he needs to get this nightmare over with!!
I'm very happy that we finally have an answer and that it is indeed a good one.
I wish with all my heart that all of you here could have a similar outcome.
You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
