Hey all,

I wanted to say hi and see what’s going on with everyone. Let me just say that I was a smoker for seven years and not a day goes by now that I don’t wish I never picked up a cigarette. I’m not here to chastise anybody, but I do have some solutions if anybody is really thinking about quitting smoking. When I made the leap a few months ago, I did use the Nicorette gum which got a little pricey. I still use it, but my cravings aren’t so bad that I feel like morphing into the Hulk. I know it’s tough and you probably get antsy just thinking about it, but let me tell you; you suffer the consequences. Even though I stopped, I wake up every morning coughing and can barely speak a lot of times. Again, I’m not preaching but if anyone wants help I’m leaving a few links for items that will help. Get them on here instead of spending $100 at the store every week like I did. I’ve been getting my Nicorette from here for about 2 months. Feel free to ask me any questions as a former smoker.

Good Luck!

Its been a month since i stopped smoking cold turkey. I dont feel any different and I still get cravings once in a while. The fist couple weeks was hell but its getting better now. Im happy i stopped.

Been a smoker for 14 years till my friend was diagnosed with a brain Tumor. I know a brain tumor has nothing to do with smoking but i know cancer is a bitch. Why risk it? You could get some many different types of cancer smoking. Thats what helped me quit

Congratulations on your success with quitting smoking!

It does take a little longer than a month to clear all the crud out of your lungs. I coughed a lot more, during my first month off, than I did while I smoked.

So pleased to hear someone did a positive step to help their future! Very Happy
