i came across this in the Mesothelioma forum and wanted to see if it's more widely used.

I'd never heard of it, but apparently it involved isolating and freezing the tumor so it can be removed without damaging the surrounding tissue too much.

It's repeatable, places little strain on the body and seems less invasive that other treatments. Is it used in other cancer treatment beyond mesolthelioma? How long has it been around?
