My father has been dignosed with Pancreatic cancer. He has been operated upon(Whipple's operation) .The pathology report of the tumour suggested that it has negative margins and it hasn't gone into the lymph nodes though it had invaded the common bile duct. The doctors are giving all sorts of figures for survival varying from 10%-50% but not sure which one is correct which one is wrong.

Doctors are suggesting that chemotherapy will further increase the probability of survival by another 10-15%.My questions are as follows:

1) What are the drugs used for this type of chemotherapy and how effective they are?
2) In reality ,what are the chances that it will be completely cured?

I would be grateful if somebody can answer my questions.
