My dad had his prostate removed early last fall. After his follow-ups, the surgeon deemed the surgery a failure and ordered 30 radiation treatments. At this point, his PSA was at 1.0. Three months after the radiation treatments, his PSA level is at 3.75. This does not sound good at all, but I do not really know what the implications are. Could someone help? Thanks.

With his situation the next step is hormone therapy, there some side effects but not much else is available at this time. Wish your father well.
