I would like to know whether the symptom of prostate inflammation's symptom similiar to the prostate cancer's.
Example, can smelly urine confirm that the frequent urination is caused by inflammation and not cancer? thanks.

Hello

It can not confirm, but it indicates that it is probably related to inflammation anywhere along the urologic tract. Cancer most often causes obtruction of the urethra by compressing it, and may facilitate the development of infection due to the urine accumulating in the bladder.
