I WAS WATCHING THE PBS CHANNEL ON THE TV. THEY HAD A MAN ON BY THE NAME OF GARY NULL. HE CAMES TO KNOW A GROUP OF VITIAMS AND HERBS THAT WILL GROW HAIR. SAYS THAT TAKES THESE YOU HAIR WILL GROW 9 INCHES IN 6 MONTHS. HE ALSO SAID THAT IF YOU WERE BALD IT WAS MAKE YOUR HAIR COME BACK EVEN IF YOU HEAD WAS AS BALD AS AN EGG. HE SALES BOOKS ON VIT. AND HERBS AND GIVES TALKS ON THEM WHICH COST ALOT TO GO TO. I AM GOING TO SEE HIM AN E-MAIL TELLING HOW GREAT IT WOULD BE IF HE WOULD SHARE THIS WONDERFUL INFORMATION WITH ALL CANCER DOCTORS SO THAT THEY COULD PASS IT ON TO ALL THE PEOPLE THEY TREAT WHO LOSE THEIR HAIR. I THINK WE SHOULD ALL SEND HIM ONE ABOUT IT. Laughing

Just my opinion, but if there was something out there to stop us from losing our hair during chemo or helping it to grow up faster, we would all know about it and especially the oncologist. I think the key word in that is that this guy SELLS books. There is a vitamin called biotin that helps with hair growth and has been known to for years, but nothing that makes it come back quicker then the 1/2 " a month average, but helps for it to come in healthier. I took that and never noticed a difference even. I don't know about everyone else, but I actually measured my hair to make sure I was getting my 1/2" a month... lol and there were a few times that I would have spurts where it seemed to come in faster. It's hard to believe now, but it will be back before you know it. My last chemo was 2 years ago this last June and it's half way down my back again and have actually had 2 hair cuts.
Take care
Nancy

Hi,

JMHO but if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. There's a lot of truth in that saying. Nine inches in 6 months? It sounds "scammy" to me. I wouldn't give him a dime.

If these products were legitimate, MANY cancer survivors would try it after finishing chemo.

Hugs,

Margie

The best way to get your hair to grwo really fast is to have bad roots that really show and when you call your haridresser she won't be back from vacation for three weeks. I find my hair grows amazingly fast in that kind of situation! Laughing
