It is in her brain now. the pain drugs are keeping her out of it.
She went on a ventilator on tuesday last week. they are going to use a laser to destroy some of the tumor that is interfering with her breathing, blocking the airway. 50/50 chance to work. If it doesn't they are going to take her off the respirator and keep her comfortable as possible until she passes. this is supposed to happen today, but i have not heard any news.
they were supposed to take her off the ventilator last Friday, but my dad could not do it. Wanted to give her another chancce. They said that they were going to do the radiation on her to shrink the tumor that is pressing into her spine so that she would have less pain and need less pain meds, and thus be more lucid, but instead they found that it is blocking her airway and are going to try this.
