My husband has lymphoma and we are interested in having children. I would like to know if it is possible to have healthy children and if lymphoma will be gentically carried down? I am worried and would like your advice. Thank you very much.

Hi TanyaGold,

I'm guessing that the answer is "it depends". In my case (lymphoma caused by Agent Orange in Vietnam) I know that some sort of deceases (can't remember all the names but spinal bifia comes to mind) are more prevelant in patient's children than others. I suspect that this is a subject that you should pursue with your husband's oncologist.

In any event, it's encouraging that the two of you are getting along with your life and I send you strength, luck and hapiness.

Burt
