Hi, I'm 26 years old and for several years I noticed some blood in my stool. I didn't think much about it but a few months ago I went to the toilet. When I was done I went upstairs and I began to have severe abdominal pain. Something fellt really wrong stirring in my bowels and I had an urgent need to go to the toilet again. The only thing which came out was blood. I haven't been to a doctor yet because it's kinda embarassing to talk about it and it didn't happen again. But now it's kinda nagging me and I'm beginning to worry it might be something serious.

Hi mambo,

It is probably nothing but a hemorrhoid, especially if the blood is blight red. But go to the doctor! Even if it is “just” a hemorrhoid, it should be examined by a physician. Even hemorrhoids sometime need medical attention.
