I just had a biopsy checking for melanoma. The dermatologist removed two moles on my upper back to send to the pathologist. I have bad genetics with cancer and I will post below my history. I also surf, but I usually have a wetsuit on. My question is, can you tell how advanced the tumor would be by the size of the mole?

My history
Dad/a rare cancer/Survived
Grandpa on my dad's side/prostate/survived
Grandma on mom's side/Ovarian/passed away
Grandpa on mom's side/prostate/passed away

P.S. I am also 14

Hey man...I wish I knew something to tell you but I saw you wrote scared...and I can understand that. Sounds like you are doing all the right things and with your age and health...it sounds like you should be able to take a deep breath and things are going to work out.
Wish I could be more specific than that, but I just wanted to let you know somebody read what you wrote and understands!!
