This is my third attempt to post my results.

I was diagnosed with prostrate cancer on March 21, 2006 PSA 4.0 Gleason 6 age 52.

Due the next few weeks I did an extensive amount of research and decided for me my best option was robotic surgery with Dr Ash Tewari at Cornell University New York Presbyterian Hospital.

After several weeks of researching I decided to fax my file to Dr Tewari office and send them a email. I was contacted the very next day by an assistant to Dr Tewari and my complete file was discussed. I was told that Dr Tewari would call me later that evening.

Later the very same evening Dr Tewari called me. I was concerned that since he was one of the world premier surgeons that he would hand me off to an associate doctor for the surgery. During that phone conversation
I asked Dr Tewari if he would for sure do the surgery. Due to the fact that he teached this surgery world wide and is extremely well know and respected in the field of robotic Prosectemy I was worried that he might not do my surgery. He stated of course he would do the surgery himself.

I arrived in New York had a pre operation visit and meet with Doctor Tewari and some of his staff. I had surgery July 14, 2006 and every thing went as planned. July 15, 2005 the next day after surgery I walked to the adjoining building to recover with a catheter in place.

July 20, 2006 six days after surgery I had the catheter removed and as of this date I have not had any incontience or leakage problems.

I would be happy to share any information with anyone who is in need and you may email me at invdall@sbcglobal.net.

I am extremely greatful to Dr Tewari and his staff. His staff was absolutely wonderful and attentive and the same kudos to Presbyterian Hospital. I would highly recommend Dr Tewari and his staff.

My thanks also to several other members who took the time to help me with information when I really needed it.
