my wife has been in the hospital for 5 days now and its not looking at all that she will survive from this...i will be checking out a hospice tomorrow and am praying that this will be the right way to make her feel the most comefortable.does anyone have any information about the hospice in calgary sarcee

I have her home now finally from the hospital,she was in there for 18 days,her spirits are just amazing ,my main concern at the moment is her weight.Shes lost so much does anyone know of any methode that could help her in gaining ?
She had a stint placed in her and it helps with her food intake but she really needs to gain about 10-15 pounds.Thanks for all help.

Hi there,

Sorry to learn of your wife's diagnosis. My husband has Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer.

I highly recommend the advice of a Naturopath. My husband has been seeing one in regards to diet and has had much success with lessened side effects and weight gain.

Items we use for weight gain are almonds and "Hemp Bits". I personally think Hemp Bits are fantastic. They can be added to anything and add a large caloric intake. You can search them online.

I would be happy to share any other info with you.
