Greetings,
Last week, after having a prostate biopsy, I was told I have prostae cance at T2a level with 6/10 gleason score.
I am only 46 and was wondering if I could get some advise here.
I'll be asking for 2nd openion, but if it is confirmed, whats the best way to go about it?

Thx.

Amoo,

Other opinions are important regarding treatment options.

I always suggest the book "Prostate Cancer Prevention and Cure" by Lee Nelson: it's very comprehensive and covers stages, treatment options, lifestyle, diet, supplements, and choosing your doctor which is VERY important regardless of what kind of treatment you choose.
Although it was written a few years ago and does not include more recent topics like hifu, it has the best information I've seen.

I have undertaken lifestyle changes, diet and immune boosting supplements. After a positive biopsy several years ago my PSA has remained at 10 with my recent 12 sample biopsy all clear.

PC is a big subject with various alternative treatments, so it does need some research before rushing a decision.

John
