24 hours ago she felt as if she was having a stroke,

24 hours later I'm told she has 2 brain 1/2" tumors and a 35mm Lung cancer tumor.....She's is 63 years young and is the most wonderful women of the face of the planet. She has never been in the hospital except to give birth to 5 loving children who would do anything to save her..

What can I do? I feel so helpless.

BHudson,

I'm sorry for your mom, my mom in law is in a similar situation.

I think one of the toughest things in this life is to watch something happen to someone you love and not be able to take away their pain, or do anything to really fix it. The best thing to do for you, is become educated, you're more of a help to your mom that way, and you know more what to expect, ask doctors' any questions you have, try to understand the feelings she will have going through this, and just do your best with others around you to lift her spirits, make the best of every day, and enjoy what you do have. And take care of YOU. I realized the hard way if you burn yourself out, it effects the one who is sick, and you're better to her if you're ok. Ask for help from other family members. Every day is a gift and it sounds like your mom is a wonderful person. Your're in my prayers.

I feel for you. My Mother also just 30 days ago felt out of breath and it continued to get worse until 2 weeks ago her Dr prescribed some allergy medicine. Turns out this week she has a 9cm mass in her lung that is Small Cell lung cancer. I just moved her into my home. I have 2 young children that are her world. We are going to Fox Chase Monday. We are going to fight this! Someone survives it out there and if your Mom is young and healthy otherwise like my Mom maybe they can be one of the survivors. I have to be optimitic. My Mom is only 60 and I am only 38 I never in my life thought I would be loosing my Mom so young. My step dad just died of it almost 2 years ago. I truly feel for you....

This can save your mom's life! Go To Google, and type in "Budwig" . Read about her diet, which consists of flaxseed oil and cottage cheese. Make your mom go on this diet and follow it to the letter. I personally know 2 people who have been diagnosed as hopeless, and have gone on this diet and lived. Please try this. It is the difference between life and death.
Thank You
