My sister had cervical cancer stage 2 and underwent chemo and radiation therapy. She just recently had a ct scan done and the doc spotted an enlarged lymph node by her kidneys. They did a biopsy and found that the cancer was now in the lymph nodes. He said he didn't know how far the cancer has spread. His only suggestion was chemo but he said it wouldn't cure it only prolong her life. She would be back and forth in the hospital a lot and he couldn't guarantee that her quality of life would be worth it. She had to decide. She only weighs 94 pounds and is about 5'3" tall. Her doctor doesn't explain things very good. I wanted her to get a different doc but she is tired and doesn't really want to. She has pretty well made up her mind not to have the chemo done. I don't like to be morbid but how long does this cancer take to go through the human body? Can somebody out there tell me something?
