We just found out last week that my mom has hepatocellular liver cancer and they told her it is advanced and they could not do surgery. She has not seen an oncologist yet due to insurance HMO and her primary doctors office is very, very slow at making appointments for anything. She had to wait over a month to get a biopsy. I live far away and do not know what to expect. I truthfully cannot afford to go home right now and do not know what to do. I need help in finding out life expecticity and effects.
I am so glad I found this website I have been looking day and night for people in the same situation to give me some insight. Bless you all! Amy help in understanding what will go on with her in the future would ge greatly appreciated. I work in the medical field (non-professional) but have no clue as what to expect. Thank you for any information you can provide.[list][/list]
