hello

my dad went was fully noraml with no symptoms at all,during a routine medical checkup and found mass in rt upper lobe, x rays or ct scans, bronscopy results not confirm any diagnosis hence he went for direct surgical removal of mass by lobectomy, he was diagnosied of stage 2A NSSLC adenocarcinoma 3 days ago......................now he is recovering slowly from surgery but still with cheat tube and pain................the doctors suggest we have to take chemotherapy further....................

can anyone of u advice me wat should be done next, does whole body need to be scanned to rule out any possibilities?

does adenocarcinoma stage 2 A respond well to chemotherapy and when to start ?

what are the best drugs and side effects of the treatment?

in total anyone can give your views on the possible prognosis of my dad case, how good wil he respond to treatment and how will be life here after the hopes of surviving a peacful painless life or..........................?

please give ur experiences

My mom was was diagnosed one year ago & has since had surgery to remove her middle right lobe, was told she was caner free, & then followed up with Kemo to make sure she was CANCER FREE.......well three months later it has returned in her lower right lobe and her lymphnodes. We are waiting for the results of her PET scan to determine which way to go....another surgery or radiation. She responded well to the Kemo first round and was working all through her kemo except for the three days when your white blood count is down. By the way she just turned 79.
Every person responds a little differently. But your dad needs to get his treatment as soon as possible. Everyday counts! Spend as much time with him as you can. Go to all his doctor appointments, ask questions....friends and family are very important now.
