Hi, I have just had the results of my CT scan that show that I have no sign of the tumour that I had three months ago. I had refused further chemo after two courses had failed and surgery that had left me with a colostomy, and bladder incontinence after a bladder/vaginal fistula. I had been in hospital and a hospice for seven months last year and had just started to pick up when my CA125 started to increase again and a new tumour was found. Further signs of cancer where also thought to be on my bowel. I decided that the best course of action was to just try to increase the quality of my life for as long as possible. So I tried intravenous vitamin C every day for six weeks plus a great many supplements and a very strict diet. I am thrilled to say that I appear to be clear of cancer for the time being. That is good enough for me as in July 2006 I was told that I had approx 12 months survival with the 3rd chemo or 6 months without. Maybe other ladies may like to consider doing a similar course of treatment if all else fails. MarianUK

I'm glad you had such good results with intravenous vitamin C. My Dad has advanced prostate cancer and a London doctor has precribed intravenous vitamin C. So far I have drawn blanks on any one willing to administer it to Dad. His hospital consultant said it wouldn't do him any harm but he couldn't arrange anyone to administer it since it is not an approved substance to treat prostate cancer. His GP refused to help also. Who did this service for you?

Marian's post is a year old and she may well not be visiting the forums.

You could try the Dove Clinic: http://www.doveclinic.com/
