I've finished all my radiation and chemo treatments and will be seeing the radiologist who did my brachytherapy next week. Last week I had quite a bit of pain - something I hadn't experienced since the cancer was diagnosed in June. This was a different pain from that, though. The pre-treatment pain was like constant, bad menstrual cramps. This was sharper, almost like a pulling sensation, and focused in the right side of my lower abdomen, where the bulk of tumor is located in my uterus).

Today I was washing dishes and blood started running down my legs. It wasn't a lot of blood, but it's the first abnormal bleeding I've had since treatments began in July. I finished the brachy almost 4 weeks ago.

Has anyone else experienced this type of post-treatment bleeding? Could it be a sign that the cancer is still dying? I'll be asking my radiologist when I see him, but I wasn't expecting this and don't want to sit here worrying about it until I see him (he's on vacation this week).
