Stem Cell Treatment

Hi All,

I'm new to this and have been recently re diagnosed with Hodgekins, i was wondering if there was a good thread on Stem Cell Treatment and what to expect when i go in etc ??

Just a good all round view on what it's like, how long for, side affects etc.

I do not know much about stem cell transplant, but have read some on the subject. I have a friend who had a bone marrow transplant at 16 and she is 30 now and cancer free. I understand that stem cell and bone marrow transplants depend on what type of cell is needed. I found a site on the Mayo Clinic site. Thanks for the reply and the info.

I was after really what the treatment is like, in reality. This is my 2nd time with Chemo and only a week or so in i've forgotten how awful it is. Sickness, taste buds, fatigue and all that.

If there is a thread for stem cell i'd love to read it.
