I have an uncle who has been hospitalized with sever headaches and vision problems. They have been running tests for about 2 1/2 weeks now. Anyway...to make a long story short, they are now 95% sure that he has lymphoma. He had a spot on his lung that they did a biopsy of.

He has spots on his lung, liver, and behind his eyes in his brain. My question is...Is this treatable or is it something that is not good? Knowing what I know about cancer, I'm assuming since it was found in so many areas that it's not good. Another question...At first they thought this was lung cancer, is it better that it has turned out to be lymphoma?

He is 75 years old so right now their main focus is treating for the head pain and vision problems that have occurred as a result of this. Thanks for any help!!

Hello

If it is lymphoma it is usually treatable. While most lymphomas are tough to cure, people can live with it for some time.

best regards,
Leo
