I was diagnosed with AML Leukemia M4 on September 14, 2006. I am 20 years old and went through the induction and consolidation chemo. I am in complete remission following my last BMB which was less than a month ago. I go back for another BMB in two weeks. The past week I have felt my spleen feel weird like it is enlarged. Not really pain, it just feels bigger and sometimes there is discomfort but, not that much. It feels better sometimes then later it will feel enlarged. Other than that, I am not fatiqued or tired (just got done with a 50 minute workout and feel energized and fine) , nor am I running any temp. I know the BMB in two weeks will confirm if I'm still in remission but, because of the weird spleen activity I am stricken with worry! Could this be a sign of a relapse? My other appointment a week or two ago showed my bloodwork to be fine. Should I be worrying myself to death here?

lldrew,
Nothing is better than a bone marrow biopsy, so just wait for the results. I would let your doctors know about your spleen when you do talk to them and any other unusual symptoms. Best wishes,
