Hi,

I have had a radical prostatectomy on June 18th and was quickly revlidated. However a few days after removing the urinary catheter, I had blocked my bladder. A catheterisation produced 900 ml of urine, but my bladder nromally holds 390 ml.
I went back to the surgeon, who gave me a new catheter for 3 days, after which things came back to practically normal. A few days later, I blocked up again and received a cystofix catheter. This went well for 5 days, and the urine jet returned to normal. Once the cystofix was removed, I got a reduced jet so that it was decided, after a scopy, to enlarge the bladder opening which had reduced to 3 mm. An incision was made, but soon thereafter I blocked again. I am now cathetering myself, and friday I'll get another trial to open up the bladder collar. I hope this will fix it.
Does any of you have some experience in this sense ? My prof.urology told me I was the exception of the exceptions, but I got the problem !!
Yhanks for any reaction.
