There seems to be a growth blocking my fathers hearing!
The hearing test showed drop in the hearing in the 5000Hz octave band
and a better results in the 8kHz band. Old age people have hearing losses
in the high frequency. This is a roll off, and the test did not reflect old age.
He has to go for an MRI
He has had prostrate cancer and healed very well in 1997!
He is 80 years old and in reasonable good health.
What are the chances it could be malignant cancer?
Is there a 50-50 chance it could be malignant cancer in other words?

In the United States how much does an MRI in the head cost? Sad Confused

Hello

There are tumors that can affect the ear canal, though these are rare. An MRI of the head costs about US$2000-3000 in the US. There are also benign tumors that can be treated effectivelly with surgery.
