I had surgery for uterine cancer (Stage 1B grade1) on June 1st, a total hysterectomy with lymph node removal, and also had my bladder lifted. Then about seven weeks later, I had three brachytherapy radiation treatments into early August.

For the past week or so, I've noticed a yellowish discharge, no strong odor, just moist and creamy.

What could be causing this? Could I be aggravating something due to using the dilator they gave me or having sex? Neither have caused pain.

Could it be a vaginal infection? A side effect of the radiation treatment? Or just normal, residual side effects due to surgery?

I'm trying to be observant about anything involving the vaginal area.

I have an appointment to see my radiology oncologist in two weeks. I'll keep an eye on it for now, but in the meantime was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen? Does it seem like something I should be worried about?
