I have completed lumpectomy for early stage breast cancer, am 56 years old and post menopause and looking for alternatives to radiation therapy that follows lumpectomy. Thank you.

I would and did take radiation. We have 1 chance to hopefully get it right so we never have to deal with this disease again, and I would be happy that it was caught early and all you need is radiation.

I've known a couple people from other boards who tried alternative medicine (mainly instead of chemo) and they aren't with us anymore. I have less then no use for Suzanne Sommers, making money off of BC survivors, but as much as she says she didn't use conventional medicine, she absolutely did. She had the lumpectomy and radiation, because it's proven to work.
