Just wondering if tiredness or cold sensitivity post prostate surgery are just typically common to the recovery period?

My dad is almost 6 weeks post surgery and is concerned about these symptoms. All his scans at the time were clear but his cancer was aggressive (although pretty much encapsulated - some sticky cells in the prostate bed were removed).

Thanks for your advice.

Thomasclan,

Hi, sorry no one has posted a reply- I seriously have no idea- and not just with this. Razz

On a serious note- Just wanted to let you know i'm thinking of you and your Dad. How is he now? Best thing is to ask the medical team he's working with. They would know more than anyone else.

Thanks for your thoughts.

He is doing very well in light of the major operation he has just endured. He is a little anxious about his next PSA test and I think the many life changes he has undergone in the past few months have been a major deal for him on an emotional level.

Thanks for asking.

Thomasclan- Sometimes it takes some time for it all to sink in. I know with me it was 'fix it', fight it, survive.

Then after i crumbled- then picked myself back up again. We all need some time to grieve over our 'old' life. The before and After of everything- Even for you as a byestander.

Take Care Inica
