Hi there:

I am from Canada and I am new here. The reason why i am here is for my Mom. She was found to have pancreatic cancer last May and had a surgery to have the tumor removed. She received 5-FU chemo for 6 moths afterwards. Last month, CA 19-9 level starts to increase, the doctor here would not see my mom until they see the result of CT scan. But there is a long waiting list here for the CT scan, we don't know when my mom could have the scan...

I am looking for some alternatives while my mom is waiting to see the Doctor. The other day, i happened to see an article talking about a pacreatic cancer patient who takes the Glyconutrients regularly and survives over 10 years. http://www.thesugarsecret.com/testimonial-detail.php?aliment=Pancreatic%20Cancer

My question is: shall i trust this Testimonial at all? Anyone else ever tried about this? Or to take I.V. of Alpha-Lipoic Acid is better?
