Has anyone become continente without doing kegels? What is this ?

I am curious to know how many men here became continente after prostrate surgery without doing any kegel exercises or just with minimum kegel exercising?

I have been doing sets of 15 kegels , three times a day since my surgery 12 weeks ago , and to date I have seen no improvement. I use 4-8 pads a day depending on my fluid intact and how much lifting I do.. I am at the point now where I just want to stop the kegels and see what happens.

I have read that becomming continente after surgery is more a function how the splinkter muscle heals and has less to do with kegels. Doing kegels only helps speed the healing process but is not necessary for the healing process to take place.

Therefore I am curious to know if anyone here has become completely dry without ever doing any kegels after surgery?
