My mother recently had cryotheraphy on a caner in her kydney.She is in her 80s has to be on oxygen 24-7 and has other breathing problems. The Drs here were very concerned over these issues to operate with sedation. The only option we came up with was cryotheraphy, which was done without sedation and worked fine, now medicare said they will not pay. Ccancers gone, kydney functions, any input confused. Thank You

murdock, I am sorry that Medicare will not pay for your mother's treatment... especially in light of the fact that it worked so well. You might want to see it your congress person can help you with this.
