Hi everyone. I am just so happy that i have found this website.
I am in my early thirties, after two ultrasound i was diagnosed with endrometrial hyperplasia i also
I really would like you to reply so i know you have been through bioysies before.
Ihave pcos and ovarian cyst 5cm. I did the biospy last week, My concern is that i read extensivly on the procedure and went in prepared based on what i read. My doc. told me that he would give me some sedative to take the edge of the pain. However i recall going in at about 9:30 am and next thing i knew it was 3:00pm. I have been so traumatize then because he had no nurse with him and i was just dead to the world for so long. I have no idea what he did or did not do. He has not given an explaination or called to even find out how i got home. Reading your posting hearing everyone talking about being awake, is now really freaking me out. Please someone reply. Am i the freaking for no reason. |

Hi aprilsaz
Welcome aboard! I asked my sister who had a similar d & c procedure, and she said she was out for only an hour. Did any nurse explain to you what happened during the procedure, and where you given instructions before you were sent home? It seems odd that you would be out so long, but maybe there is a reasonable explanation. Hopefully other women will respond with their experiences here, and let us know how it turns out.
Take care,
Rhonda |

| was this a male doctor. there is always suppose to be a nurse present whenever thereis going to be an intimate exam. at least there always has been for me, when i have had to see a male. i had my D&C done at the hospital under a mild anesthesia. i think they started around 8:00 am, and i was at home on my couch before noon. i would definitely seek to find out exactly what was done during the procedure, and why was your recovery time so abnormally long. a good doctor will be glad to address any of your questions or concerns. this is to important to leave to "oh there doctor's, so that must mean they know what is going on". if need be ask for all record of that day. they have to give it to you. good luck. |
