Trudy,

My heart just aches for you.

My mom was just diagnosed NSCLC stage iv last week, started whole brain radiation this week, and will start chemo next week.

She is so determined to fight this and do the chemo, but I am dreading it. I don't want her time, if limited, to be spent so sick. I also need to trust her to choose her own treatment. That's what Brainman says and in my heart I know he is right. But oh I am scared!

I'll be thinking of you and your mom, please hold strong.

Oh Trudy, Poor you!
I am sorry to hear of your dear mums suffering Sad Good for you, she wanted to come home and you have done that. How lovely and adorable you are.
Well this chemo does put the body through it, that's for sure.. Its certainly a personal choice. I read vitamins doesn't help against this dreadful chemo, but I wonder? I must admit my husband did not get a cough or cold during chemo time or after but I was pushing the multi-vits and vitamin C down him. Just a snippet of info, if it helps?

Trudy, if your mom has decided to not do any more chemo, look into getting Hospice on board to help. They are a blessing and will give you so much support, you as well as your mom.
