I had forgotten how bad I had the hiccups after my first chemo treatment. They wore me out. Medication didn't help. It got better with each treatment.

Has anyone else had that problem?

My husband would get hiccups after one of his treatments, but I can't remember which one. They are annoying -- I'm sorry. As I recall, it did get better with subsequent treatments.

Good luck!

REB - did you ever try a teaspoon of sugar?

Works for me every time on regular hiccups - just put it in your mouth and start swallowing - something about how long it takes just seems to work.

Cheers

I found that breahing in as much as I can, and then swallowing, worked. I didn't try the sugar.
